Monroe is a platform that helps contributors with large libraries of footage license their content to AI companies to train models. You get paid per hour, per company that uses your content.

We work with YouTube creators, TV stations, news outlets, film producers, and independent videographers.

Today's footage generation models need a lot of improvement. AI companies are looking to license millions of hours of content to train their models on real-world data.

AI companies who license your footage are contractually obligated to not reproduce your name, image or likeness.

Your footage is secured in SOC-2 compliant data warehouses. There are strict regulations that our footage licensors and distributors must follow to keep your footage anonymous and private.

Any noncompliance would result in significant penalties remitted to you.

We accept anything from fully edited videos to raw footage and B-roll. Your footage must be horizontal (not vertical) and at least 1080p. The better the quality, the larger a license fee the footage commands.

Your footage must be the owner of any submitted content.

AI companies can pay anywhere from $7.20 to $60 per hour of content used.

This means if you submit 100 hours of content, you could earn $720 to $6,000 per company that uses your content.

Higher paying content includes: Smoothed 4K cinematic/drone footage and high-quality/high-resolution B-roll.
Lower paying content includes: Vlogs, talking head videos, and low-resolution footage.

You must own the rights to the content you upload. In addition, we are not currently accepting gaming content.

If you have a YouTube channel, we can pull content directly from your channel. For other content, you can either upload it, or we can ship you an external drive to copy your content onto.

You will receive a full dashboard to review your total content ingestion and usage statistics in real-time.

Monroe offers multiple ways to get paid. Choose between ACH, Wire, PayPal, Wise, or any other standard payment methods.

Monroe will release payments to Creators within 72 hours of receiving payment from the company and takes a 15% commission.
